§ 1 Who we are
Peregrine Labs is an independent software practice based in London, Ontario, Canada. We operate this website and build software products, including a health coaching service that works with data from connected fitness devices. For anything in this policy, contact [email protected].
§ 2 This website
This site is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no third-party trackers. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser user agent, pages requested) for security and operations; these are retained briefly and then discarded. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
§ 3 Health coaching & Garmin data
Our health coaching service can connect to your Garmin account, with your explicit consent, through the Garmin Connect Developer Program APIs using OAuth 2.0. You choose what to connect, and you can revoke access at any time from your Garmin Connect account settings, which stops all future collection.
Depending on what you authorize, we receive activity and health data such as workouts, steps, heart rate, sleep, stress, and related wellness metrics. We use this data for exactly one purpose: to provide you, personally, with health and training coaching. Garmin's own handling of your data is governed by Garmin's privacy policy.
§ 4 What we never do
- We never sell your data.
- We never share your data with third parties — not even in anonymized or aggregated form.
- We never use your data for advertising.
- We never use your data to build products, datasets, or models for anyone other than you.
§ 5 Your rights & controls
- Export — request a complete, machine-readable copy of your data and we will deliver it within 2 business days.
- Deletion — request deletion and we will erase your data from our systems immediately.
- Disconnection — revoke our access in your Garmin Connect account at any time.
- Correction & access — ask us at any time what we hold about you, and have inaccuracies corrected.

§ 6 Retention & security
We keep your data only for as long as you use the service; if you disconnect or your account closes, it is deleted. Data is encrypted in transit, stored on infrastructure we control, and accessible only as needed to operate the service.
§ 7 Children
Our website and services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
§ 8 Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with an updated effective date. Material changes to how we handle health data will be communicated to affected users before they take effect.
